How soon do I need to book?

As soon as you know your venue and date. I only take on a limited number of weddings a year and I am currently taking bookings 12-18months in advance.

What’s your style?

For the majority of the day, I like capturing moments as they happen. I approach weddings with a very informal, friendly and journalistic approach. Along with this is a blend of my own creativity to create some beautiful portraits.

Do you provide photography by the hour or day?

My packages are for the full day up to 10 hours. I will be with you from Bridal Prep to first dance to cover as much of your day as possible. If you think you may require some additional coverage that’s not a problem i can tailor something to your needs.

Do we meet before the wedding?

Absolutely! I insist on it. I always have a pre-wedding meeting with all my couples before the big day to talk through all the details.

Will you visit the venue before the day?

Yes, If you would like we can have your pre-wedding meet/engagement shoot at your venue (depending on location) although you will need to check it with them first.

Are you willing to travel?

I love to travel anywhere in the UK and abroad. Anywhere within 50 miles of Reading is included but further afield and inside London will have additional expenses. If it is more than 2 hours travel I may require overnight accommodation the night before so I’m fresh and ready for your wedding day.

How much do you charge for a destination wedding?

A destination wedding will be the same cost as a wedding here in the UK the only additional cost is the travel expense.

Can we meet before we book you?

Yes, of course. Once you have enquired and I have confirmed that your date is available, We can arrange a time and place to meet near my home in Reading. If this is not possible can arrange a call where you can ask me any questions you have and we can discuss your day in full. I do always have a pre-wedding meeting with all my couples before the big day.

There isn’t parking at our venue, will this be a problem?

If there isn’t parking at any of the wedding locations you need to let me know at the time of booking. This may have a significant impact on time & travel on the day and will need to be planned & cost for.

Do you have a second photographer?

Yes, I can arrange a second photographer for Groom prep and for extra coverage of your day.

What happens once I have booked?

When you have paid your deposit and signed your agreement, your date is then secure and no one else can book that day. In the meantime enjoy planning your wedding day and all the details that go with it. I’m sure you will have a plenty to do! I will be in touch to plan your pre-wedding meeting a few months before your big day.

When is the final balance due?

Your final payment is due 1 month before your wedding day.

What do you need from me?

I ask for a full plan of your day along with any must-have photos! I don’t need to know the basic photos, just any unique or special details to your wedding day you would like captured or certain must have photos. Just pop all this down in your plan.

Do we need to provide a meal?

Yes please, having a meal provided during the wedding breakfast at the venue allows me to fully concentrate 100% on your day and be on hand if required. Somewhere away in the bar area is fine.

What about the weather?

Unfortunately, it is the only thing that can’t be controlled. If it does rain on your day we can change the plan accordingly. We can get some photos inside or wait for the rain to pass, or better yet just embrace it and go dancing in the rain 🙂

What if your camera breaks?

Accidents can happen but don’t worry I have backups of all my equipment in case of any mishaps!

What equipment do you use?

I use Nikon cameras and a variety of lenses and flashes.

How long will it be before I receive my photos?

Photography is not just about taking pictures. All the photos will be carefully edited to make them absolutely perfect when you receive them. This can take 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year.

Can I add to my package after my deposit is paid?

Yes! Just shoot me an email with what you would like to add and I’ll make it happen.  You can also come back to me anytime after your wedding if you decide you want to make an album.
