London pre-wedding shoot along the south bank
A damp Sunday morning in January I travel up to London to meet Derin & Matt for their pre-wedding shoot. The couple wanted to do their pre-wedding shoot along the south bank as it was here a year ago where Matt got down on one knee and asked Derin to marry him.
I know the south bank well but it is the first time I had done a shoot here and I was very excited. I arrived a little earlier so I could have a walk around and pick some great spots to shoot at. We started early so it was quiet and we had the area pretty much to ourselves apart from a few Sunday morning joggers out stretching their legs.
Derin wore a bright red jacket which worked perfectly in this urban setting. Starting at the London eye and moving along the south bank their outfits worked perfectly making them stand out from the backgrounds and artwork on the walls all along the south bank and the London Eye.
A pre-wedding shoot is a great way for me to get to know couples, and for them to get to know me before their wedding day. I can give some simple posing tips which they can use on their wedding day making photos more natural and relaxed.
Derin & Matt it was lovely meeting you both and I can’t wait to shoot your wedding this summer.
