Cheryl & Robs’
Wasing Park Barn
wedding in Berkshire

Before we go any further I should introduce myself in case this is the first encounter you have with me and my website. Hi, I’m Joe and i’m a wedding photographer. I travel literally anywhere for a wedding to capture some cracking pics for an awesome couple but today i was very close to home.  A whole 5 miles and 14minute drive to Wasing park for me to capture Cheryl and Robs wedding. Wasing park is one of my local and favourite wedding venues, so I know it very very well. On to the wedding itself!

Wasing Park Wedding

Almost 2 years to the day later than originally planned – because of you know what – and Cheryl & Rob finally got to tie the knot at the stunning Wasing Park estate in Berkshire. We were only a matter of weeks away from the big day the first time when everything got shut down and the whole world closed. During that time Wasing park had made some changes to the venue and spaces available and what was already an incredible venue just got better. The courtyard at the front of the castle barn had a facelift with the addition of a stunning fountain and some tree lines and plants leading from the barn into the grounds, The terrace is now also undercover with a tipi style awning making it a great space all year round.

Cheryl got ready at Kitts cottage on the Wasing estate and had the most chill morning leaving plenty of time between hair and makeup and getting in her dress to enjoy the time and spend it with her bridesmaids and a prosecco toast. The one thing I always say to a bride is you can never be ready too early and i always recommend not being the last for hair and makeup. If you’re last and things overrun then you will be the one rushed getting ready.

Being ready early just means you have time to relax and take everything in and enjoy the time.

Whether you’re after an intimate ceremony or a large and lavish affair, Wasing Park can accommodate all your needs. With its stunning grounds and gardens, Wasing Park is a photographer’s dream come true. So if you’re looking for breathtaking wedding photos, Wasing Park should be at the top of your list.

Photographing weddings at Wasing Park

Wedding photographers can often get a bit overwhelmed when there is so much detail to try and capture – I know I have been in the past. I’m always more about the people and the vibe but what I realised is the setting and the couple’s vision creates the vibe and then the photos follow. I could waffle on a bit more about Wasing barn but I’m sure you’re here for the photos so lets go!

Testimonial

Thank you so much for sharing our wedding photos with us so quickly! The photos are absolutely wonderful and really capture our day.
We’re so pleased you could join us. It was great to work with you and we’re so grateful for your support.

Thank you for sending us our USB and printed photos. It all came so beautifully packaged and was very impressive. It really was a lovely surprise to have them so well presented. Thank you for taking the time to do so and for putting so much thought into how you send these items to couples.

Thank you again for photographing our day. We have so many photos to treasure!
