This is something I haven’t done in a while, a blog! I can’t remember the last time I opened the laptop and I wasn’t editing a wedding!
Those of you who kindly follow me on Instagram probably know it’s been so busy the latter part of 2022 that even posting on there has taken a back seat.
What a mad one it’s been!
Anyway, before I get into it and start gushing about Abigail and Dominics elegant Cliveden House wedding let me introduce myself to those that haven’t come across my photography before. I’m Joe, a wedding photographer based in Hampshire, UK.
Wedding photography at Cliveden House
To most people, it probably looks like I just rock up from one awesome wedding venue to the next, which in part is true. But a lot of people ask how do I get these weddings, How do couples find me or noticed my work and where do the enquiries come from? And a lot of it is from doing this – blogging, Sharing and posting pictures from the weddings and rambling on about how great they were. Which is exactly how Abigail and Dom found me. One day during the wedding planning they were probably doing a search for Cliveden House wedding Photographer and coming across my photos of a shoot I did there a few years ago. Fast forward to 2022 and here i was back at this stunning venue for their big day.
A little bit of Tuscany at Cliveden House
On a warm mid summers day it was easy to forget we were in the Berkshire countryside and not a villa in Tuscany. A beautiful outdoor ceremony and a string trio accompanied Abigail down the aisle. The guests enjoyed a magician with close-up magic while we did photos and made the most of the venue’s incredible locations. After the meal in the french dining room, the guests retreated to the terrace for cocktail hour during sunset and more live music, before partying the night away.
Black tie wedding at Cliveden House
There is something timeless about a black tie and if I were to get married again I would definitely be wearing a tux. Dom and all the men were just killing it. Maybe its a James bond thing!
Photographing a wedding at Cliveden House was a bit of a wedding venue bucket list tick for me, and I can’t wait to go back again!
